Cataracts

Cataract surgery is safe and effective when a qualified and experienced surgeon is in charge, and when the most advanced methods are used. At Arvada Vision & Eye Clinic, we have the knowledge and technology to detect and diagnose cataracts.

Our team has been practicing eye care since 2003 and can co-manage your cataracts with the best team of surgeons in Northern Colorado. During cataract surgery, your cloudy lenses will be removed and replaced with a permanent, trouble-free artificial lens, and you will be experiencing near-normal vision in just a short while!

Glaucoma Treatment by Arvada Vision & Eye Clinic in Colorado

Glaucoma

Our team of Arvada Vision & Eye Clinic are dedicated to early detection and treatment to halt this silent and significant cause of blindness in adults.

Glaucoma usually begins after the age of 40 and has no symptoms. As it progresses, it causes undetectable loss of one’s peripheral (side) vision and permanent damage to the optic nerve. That’s why it is critical to have your eyes checked regularly.

At Arvada Vision & Eye Clinic, the glaucoma examination is a standard part of your regular eye examination. Should we find glaucoma, there are a variety of modern treatment options available throughout the office.

Dry Eyes

Dry eye is a disease – here in Colorado, our humidity levels run lower, and eyes dry out easier. This will often be felt by patients as scratchy or itchy eyes and may even cause redness, tearing, and blurred vision.

At Arvada Vision & Eye Clinic we use the latest technology available to treat dry and tearing eyes. Several new treatments have become available in the last few years and we have the experience to make your eyes comfortable again with these new innovations in dry eye therapy.

Diabetic Eye Disease

Diabetes affects almost ten percent of the adult population in The United States! Many patients who are newly diagnosed with this disorder already have significant diabetic eye disease. Diabetes itself can sometimes be diagnosed by our team from findings during a routine eye examination.

There are a variety of childhood eye diseases that can cause decreased vision in your child. Because many conditions such and amblyopia (lazy eye), crossed eyes (strabismus) and undetected refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism) cannot be detected without special equipment, regular exams are vital for children. Some of these can permanently decrease a child’s vision through his or her lifetime if not caught early.
